Geotagging software
From Necowiki
- Here are the tools at this time
One of the most interesting sites I found when it comes to geotagging is WWMX. Its apparently a Microsoft Labs site with some prety neat tools.
- WWMX Location Stamper - this lets you add GPS location data from a .gpx file to the images
- Track Download - incase you dont have whatever software is needed to get the data off the GPS unit
- Travelogue Authoring tool - Makes a web page with a map (which has a dot for every place you took a picture) that has your track from the .gpx file, and thumbnails of the images (this should have been geotagged before)
- WWMX Client - Its an interesting way to find photos by location - using Microsoft Mappoint server
- ExifTool
- This is the nicest way i found to add GPS to NEF files so far. it does require an intermediate step of ((Geotagging NEF files)) but its free. It requires [1] though
